My Children: Barbara, Courtney and Bryttany

Barbara and Courtney are 5 and Bryttany is 4...I am very proud of my kids, I love them very much, and this song I picked just for them because everything I do, I do it for them. Well I'm sure if you took the time to come and see this page you would like to know a little bit more about my kids. So here goes......

Barbara... is the one in the first picture she was born on March 23, 1992 and weighed 5 lbs 7 oz and was 18 inches long...Her name is very special, she was named after my grandmother as a way of keeping my grandmother's memory alive, because my grandmother and I were very close. I promised myself when my grandmother passed that my first born daughter would carry her name...actually my grandmothers name was Jean Barbara and always wanted it to be Barbara Jean and well that is how Barbara got her name....she loves to smile and she loves to meet new people, she's a lot like her mother in everything she does, it must be perfect or she gets upset and has to redo it until she is happy*l*. She also wants to grow up too fast, she loves getting into my makeup so she can look pretty. She is nothing like her twin sister who is a fraternal twin, she is very easy going and laid back unless you start something with her then watch out**lol**

Courtney...She's the one in the second picture, she was born 87 minutes later, and before I get asked yes I knew I was having twins, it was a real fun expierience watching her on the ultrasound machine as we were waiting for her to come into the world, unlike Barbara she was in no rush to be born, her stubborn side was aparent the day I was having her. She was too busy doing her exercises to care about being born. When she finally did enter the world on March 23, 1992 she weighed 5 lbs 14 oz and was 19 inches long, funny part of that is she was also born at 5:14 pm*l* she is more of the boss of the twins she takes charge of every situation, she is very mature for her age, her pediatrician has noted her as being a gifted child, because she's about 2 years ahead, which makes for some interesting situations around the house**lol**she does have a few similarities to her sister Barbara, she too loves to smile, laugh, and meet new people, but she also is very upfront, and if she doesn't like something she tells you about it, which can be good and bad I have seen**lol** her middle name is Lynn and that too has special meaning as each of my kids names have a story behind some part of their name, Lynn is a good friend of the family and was always there for me when I needed her, plus I thought it sounded pretty together

Being as though they were twins I got told that twins were very hard to take care of...Not true...it's not as bad as they make it out to be, with enough love and patience it is NO different than taking care of one child, I got lucky too though they took turns with feedings and diaper changings etc, and well here we are 5 years later and they are starting Kindergarten in September, thinking about it though it doesn't seem like its been that long since they were born.

Bryttany...She's the one in the third picture, yeah I know she didn't look to happy in that pic**lol**, well she was born on April 1, 1993, she was no joke though...She was 6 lbs 12 oz and 20 inches long...It was now like having triplets running around the house, She has a few really interresting stories of her own, for one her full name is Bryttany Marie Cynthia, her name is very special for several reasons but the most important reason is that Cynthia is my mothers name and I gave that to Bryttany as a tribute to my own mother. Bryttany is more of the tom boy of the three girls she loves to rough house and she's a very tough child, she is very stubborn and doesn't put up with anyones bull, she has beaten tremendous odds to live, I would tell you more about what she likes but I want to share her story of triumph with you instead. On July 6, 1995 she was badly burned in an electrical fire, it almost took her life, and well she said she wasnt going anyplace and here she is now after 4 operations 2 years later doing great, cant even tell by looking at her that she was hurt huh?? Shriner's Hospital in Boston has been taking care of her since July 10, 1995 and will continue to do so until she turns 21...to them I have one thing to say God Bless You, you will always hold my unending love and gratitude for what you did for her, I can't thank you enough. Why am I telling you this you might ask?? I am telling you this so that you know even when things seem to be the worst that they can ever be something will happen to make it better if you only have faith.
